Tommy Quick (29) was 12 when he suffered a stroke and his life changed forever. He didn’t give up and is riding across Australia now on a brand new TRIcon 26 trike.
This TRIcon 26 is equipped with SRAM GX electrnic wireless shifting, parking brake, universal tyres from Continental and is controlled by one hand only.
This Ruby red glitter FAT trike has Shimano EP8 motor paired with Nexus 5E automatic shifting. A very unusual combination which required some adjustments of the frame design.
This AZUB Ti-FLY 26 is equipped with a Shimano Steps EP8 e-assist combined with the Enviolo automatic stepless gear hub. The steering is controlled by tilting the body, the shifting is automatic, and the brakes are controlled by pushing the knee.
We are very proud we could be part of the project to supply Lee with his new electric trike. His choice was Ti-FLY 26. Lee has no arms so operating the trike is quite a task.
We got here another really custom build trike for the disabled rider whose is not possible to shift/brake with his left hand. So every needed features are on right side of the handlebar.
Recumbent bikes especialy trikes are a good option for disabled people. The body of the rider doesn’t suffer by any hurt or over pressure while riding, on trikes there is even no need to balance it and bikes and trikes can be easily driven by only one hand.
We are pretty happy we can announce we have developed some adaptations which can help disabled people ride our trikes. Here is one of the first trikes with such adaptations.
At first sight this is not a special bike. Maybe the combination of AZUB Ibex and above seat steering is not so common, but in last months this specification is quite normal too and people like it more and more.
