Unique AZUB Ti-FLY 20 trike with Enviolo Automatiq automatic shifting

This recumbent trike is truly unique thanks to the Enviolo Automatiq automatic transmission. Automatic shifting is not that uncommon these days, and we build it ourselves quite often both in the Enviolo version and with Shimano Nexus Inter 5E or, more recently, in a Shimano Cues Di2 with a classic derailleur variation. However, automatic shifting is always coupled with an e-assist. But always doesn’t necessarily mean really always, and if a customer has a special request, we at AZUB are ready to take on big challenges.

And that’s precisely what happened in this case. The prospective rider didn’t want an electric drive but needed automatic shifting. So we teamed up with a battery manufacturer, made one with enough capacity and the necessary parameters to power the Enviolo Automatiq, added a proper charger, packed it into a Brooks bag, and then assembled the whole thing to our AZUB Ti-FLY 20 full suspension trike. But that wasn’t all because the customer wanted a custom color of RAL 6005 dark green not only on the main frame of the trike but also on the rear fork, pedal, and carrier. On top of that, there are Magura MT4 hydraulic disc brakes, an ultra-comfortable padded Dream Seat, mudguards, and a rear disc parking brake.

In short, a unique piece of kit that makes sense and one that we’re truly proud of.
