Working on the project of a trike which Mr. Hos powers only by one leg and which he controls only with his body without the involvement of arms was a great challenge for the entire AZUB team. And we are thrilled that we succeeded. This AZUB Ti-FLY 26 is equipped with a Shimano Steps EP8 e-assist combined with the Enviolo automatic stepless gear hub, which we used on a trike for the first time. The steering is controlled by tilting the body, the shifting is automatic, and the brakes are controlled by pushing the knee on a large orange plate, which we printed on a 3D printer. The rider can operate the rear hydraulic brake with a short piece of his right hand. Mr. Hos only needs assistance getting on and off the trike and starting the motor, but he manages the ride as such.
First time Mr. Hos visited AZUB he sat in a standard e-assisted trike and we tried to realize what he needs.
