From time to time we do see an interesting and very needed request coming. Like when our good dealer from Netherlands Abeona Mobility asked for automatic shifting on a FAT trike. Something which is not normally possible, because there doesn’t exist a fat internal hub that would allow automatic shifting. The trike is for a handicapped guy who wants to ride on beaches, but can’t control the shifting by his hands. So we decided to make a little, but important adjustment of the frame so it accommodates the Nexus internal hub and here we are with the result.
Beautiful Ruby red glitter color, Shimano EP8 motor, Nexus Inter 5E hub with automatic shifting, and also SON lights front and back. The rack comes from Topeak and the trike has also an additional Ventisit seat pad for the maximum level of comfort.
