A little flashback to our recumbent meeting celebrating AZUB’s 25th anniversary – two recumbent bikes built by two of our six mechanics, Ondra and David, for their own use at the recently mentioned recumbent rally.
We thought we’d turn this into a fun little challenge – let us know which bike you would prefer!
Ondra, standing over 190 cm (6 ft 3 in), built an AZUB MINI in light blue from our ColorShop, a shade not available in our standard lineup. This shows that even taller riders can comfortably enjoy the MINI.
David chose the AZUB SIX, featuring a different frame geometry compared to the MINI, Pearl night blue color, and a 26″ rear wheel, while the MINI has 20″ wheels front and back.
The only differences are the model and color – the rest of the specifications are essentially the same:
Both chose:
• Above-seat steering
• Sturmey Archer Tripleshift 27- speed drivetrain
• Shimano Cues hydraulic disc brakes
• SASO air front fork
• DNM air rear shock
• Composite seat size L with Ventisit
So you can see the components are identical. The question is: Would you go for the dark blue SIX or the light blue MINI? Check the pictures below and let us know who you think made the better choice! 😃
