We would like to introduce our new ambassador, Adrian Stefanescu. Adrian describes himself as half Romanian, half Viking and we add that he will soon become half footballer and half cyclist. Formerly a footballer, then a football scout and hotel operator in Norway, next April he’ll embark on a 35,000km journey from the northernmost football club that is located in Norway to the southernmost one you’d find in New Zealand. His touring rig will be a fully equipped full-suspension AZUB Ti-FLY 20 with a Shimano Steps engine and Rohloff gearbox.

“Viking on Road” is a not only a project but a journey. 
A journey from the northernmost professional football club in the world (Hammerfest FK, Norway 
) to the southernmost football club in the world (Southern United FC, New Zeeland 
)
And not just an ordinary journey but one of its kind – a 35.000 kilometers trip on a trike. We are not necessarily looking to break into the World Guinness Book, to imitate on a hurry Phileas Fogg’s journey, or to step on the footprints of Amundsen or other explorers, but we are looking to visit on our way from north to south over 200 football clubs across the world and attend over 200 football games so we can share with our audience some amazing, interesting and unique stories of each club we will be stepping in, offering football fans from all over the world an insight from behind the scenes of the big games they see on TV.
This is a unique project that hasn’t been done before in football history (actually, not in any history), will take us three long years to complete, and that we are proud of.
We will be visiting clubs from Scandinavia, the United Kingdom, Central & Eastern Europe, the Middle East, the Far East, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand, getting in touch with millions of football fans but also with a variety of geographical areas, different cultures, and unexpected challenges.
If, at the end of the project, we still have resources, we shall continue to take the challenge further, crossing the African continent and the Americas and visiting some of the most famous stadiums and most insane football fans on earth.
