Ruthie and Jim have been avid cyclists their entire lives, but a few years ago they made the switch to recumbent trikes. Their first choice of brand didn’t go so well — even though the trikes were advertised as off-road capable, they simply couldn’t withstand the demands of their adventurous lifestyle. After some trial and error, they discovered AZUB and chose two Ti-FLY 26 recumbent trikes with electric assist.

Since then, they’ve been happily exploring the United States in their camper van, searching for the most beautiful trails and pushing the boundaries of what trikes can handle. They transport their trikes in a trailer equipped with a solar panel, allowing them to charge while on the road.

In the video, Ruthie and Jim talk about what led them to recumbent riding, why they chose AZUB, how their trikes are equipped, and what they love about them. They also share which trails have recently become their favorites.

This interview was recorded during the Hostel Shoppe Pedal Point Rally in June 2024. We thank ⁨@JaYoeNation⁩ for the help with filming!
