A Custom AZUB MAX 700 – The Ultimate Bikepacking Machine

Every now and then, a bike leaves a strong impression even among the people who build bikes every day. This AZUB MAX 700 is one of those machines.

Built for a customer from Switzerland who plans to travel comfortably over long distances, this recumbent bike combines efficiency, comfort, and carefully selected premium components. The result is a highly capable bikepacking recumbent that immediately caught the attention in our workshop — not only for its technical setup, but also for its striking appearance.

Finished in our new Lime Green color, this MAX 700 is hard to miss. The bright frame paired with carbon components and elegant tan-wall tires gives the bike a clean and distinctive look. We are quite confident it will catch the eye wherever it rides.

Some of the components used on this build are outside our standard offer. When customers request specific parts like these, we are often able to accommodate them, but such solutions require individual sourcing and thereforecome with additional surcharges depending on the selected components.

At AZUB, recumbent trikes have become increasingly popular over the past few years. Still, we have a deep appreciation for two-wheel recumbents, especially when a build like this comes together. Seeing a carefully configured touring bike like this one standing in the workshop is simply a pleasure.
