This Ti-Fly X is one of the first trikes ever built with the Folding Hinge fully compatible with the Bosch Dual Battery Smart System – and it’s already on its way to a happy new owner in the USA.
Ever since we started offering Bosch motors with the option of the Dual Battery setup, folding the trike completely was not possible. The reason was simple – the second battery holder could not be easily removed, and when folded, there was a real risk of scratching the frame or even damaging the second holder.
With this new setup, that issue is finally gone. Riders can now enjoy a completely foldable trike, even with two battery holders on each side! Thanks to the newly designed movable battery plate and a quick-release lever on the left mount, removing one battery takes just a few seconds. After that, the holder itself can be reattached to a dedicated mount on top of the rear frame – a new feature designed exactly for this purpose.
And for those who already own a Dual Battery setup and would love to have this folding option on their trike – good news! This upgrade can be retrofitted, so you can enjoy the same convenience on your existing tricycle.
