Pushing ColorShop to the Limit with Paul's AZUB Ti-FLY X
It's fascinating how often our customers try to match the look of their bikes to their cars—or sometimes the other way around. Last year, we featured what was probably the most creative, but also the craziest and certainly one of the most demanding ColorShop projects we have ever worked on: a Ti-FLY X built for our customer and designer Charles from Florida. This year, we've taken ColorShop even a step further.
When One Dream Trike Inspires Another
Charles's new trike impressed his friend Paul so much that he decided to order one of his own. With Charles's help, another truly exceptional machine was born.
Paul's Ti-FLY X raises the bar for what is possible in our ColorShop to an entirely new level. While it features fewer metallic and glitter paint effects, we also explored custom color options for components that are normally limited to anodized finishes. Although we didn't achieve an exact match to Paul and Charles's original vision for these parts, the final result is beautifully complemented by these details, and once again we pushed the boundaries of what we can create.
One garage. One color.
One of the most striking things about Paul's Ti-FLY X is how perfectly it matches his Lamborghini Urus. From the main yellow color scheme to the blue accents found throughout the Urus's interior, the two machines look as though they were created for each other.
And perhaps that's not where the similarities end. In many ways, the Ti-FLY X and the Urus seem to share a similar philosophy. Both attract attention wherever they go. Both combine sporty performance with the ability to venture beyond smooth pavement. And both place a strong emphasis on comfort. We can't say for certain—none of us has ever had the chance to drive a Lamborghini Urus—but that's how we imagine it feels.
Details That Make the Difference
While Charles's trike featured specially painted rims, Paul chose carbon rims instead. At his request, we also fitted this Ti-FLY X with smooth Michelin Pilot Pump tires, whose color scheme perfectly complements the rest of the trike. After all, true beauty lies in the details. Given the extent of these unique modifications, the project exceeded the scope of our standard ColorShop offering, and a bespoke pricing arrangement was agreed with the customer.
Riding Florida's Trails in Full Color
Today, both Paul and Charles are enjoying their dream AZUB Ti-FLY X trikes, exploring the trails of Florida together. And one thing is certain: wherever they go, the world becomes a little more colorful.
