AZUB T-Trisek in Dark Gray – Agile, Personalized, and Ready to Ride

The AZUB T-Trisek continues to be a popular choice among women and riders of smaller stature, thanks to its adaptable design and approachable size. This particular trike exemplifies both simplicity and thoughtful customization. A rider from a city near Uherský Brod contacted us, eager to try a recumbent. After a few test rides – and a few weeks of lead time – there’s now one more recumbent rider enjoying the experience.

In general, the T-Trisek features a rigid frame, three 20″ wheels, and is agile, responsive, and easy to store. For this build, additional custom touches were added to meet the rider’s specific needs.

The trike sports a special dark gray ColorShop finish with a subtle shimmering effect, selected by the rider after seeing it on some other bike. To accommodate her unique requirements, the right side is equipped with a custom leg support, while the left side features a Shimano SPD 520 pedal, ensuring maximum pedaling efficiency.

As mentioned, building a T-Trisek is usually about simplicity and efficiency. For this rider, we chose a stronger motor, the Shimano STEPS EP801 Cargo, which provides more assistance compared to our standard EP6 system. Although this motor is harder to source, it made perfect sense and was worth the wait in her case – the extra power improves efficiency, especially since she pedals only with her left leg.
